Things to do in Konjic

Konjic sits on the Neretva about 45 minutes north of Mostar by car, on the main road toward Sarajevo, and its own stone-arched Ottoman bridge is worth the stop on its own terms. The bridge dates to the 17th century and was rebuilt after wartime damage in the 1990s; the old quarter around it holds a handful of cafes and a small mosque, best seen in an hour or two before continuing north.

Konjic is also the access point for Tito's Cold War bunker complex, but that visit is a separate, guided undertaking with its own timed entry and fee in KM, not something you fold into a walk across the bridge.

Treat Konjic as a stopover between Mostar and Sarajevo rather than a day trip destination on its own: pair the bridge and riverside walk with a coffee stop, and decide separately whether the bunker tour fits your schedule.
