This group covers the Hutovo Blato bird reserve on the lower Neretva delta and the Vjetrenica cave system near Ravno, one of the longest cave systems in the Balkans, rather than the open-air hiking trails further north. Birdwatching depends on migration season, and cave temperatures stay cool year-round regardless of the weather outside.
